My name is Jerry Nolte; State Representative from Missouri's 33rd District and I am running for the Fifth District Congressional seat. I will fight for you to bring down unemployment, reign in our unsustainable debt and encourage domestic energy production.
The path to prosperity begins with constructing an environment that allows entrepreneurs to create jobs and prosperity. Small businesses are being choked with government regulation and ambivalence from Washington. Unpredictable energy costs and an undesirable new health care scheme has added to the drag government has imposed on job growth.
We need to build on the assets we have by encouraging growth in areas like manufacturing, agriculture and cutting edge technology. Concentrating on these clusters will make us more competitive and increase opportunity for job growth. For too long the representative from the fifth district has taken us down the wrong path of big government and even bigger debt for us and our children.
In Jefferson City I have focused on job creation, encouraging a good business environment, expanding our manufacturing and agricultural markets and being fiscally responsible with your tax dollars.
